Richard L Tenney
I finally got around to putting up a web page for Ski Fun
Tours, the ski touring group run by Eric Thioliere that Yvette and I have
enjoyed while in Chamonix.
Below are links to photo collections. Most, but not all, are password protected.

These were produced for viewing online
using JAlbum. In each case,
you will see one or more pages of "thumbnails". Click on a thumbnail to view
a "slide", a version of the picture suitable for viewing on a video screen.
Click on the slide to view the original picture. In most cases, this one is
suitable for enlarging and printing, but it is also a quite large file, so if
you have a dial-up connection, think twice before you make this final click.

up to visit the Gibsons -- maybe 1969
A small
selection (well, six pages) of pictures from our trip to Australia in May
2005
Some pictures from the Patterson wedding
in Chautauqua, NY – June 2005.
Pictures from the dinner before the
Brecher wedding in Del Mar, CA – June 2005.
Pictures from the Brecher wedding – June
2005.
We stayed with Roger and Heather for a
few days – June 2005.
Roger and Heather hosted a party
for Henry's birthday – June 2005.
Visit to Sarah, Matthew, &
Shoshanna (and a couple of other random pictures taken around the same time)
– June 2005. Suzy & Warren were visiting at the same time, so there
are pictures of them, too.
Some
pictures from Freema's 90th birthday party.
Some
pictures from our trip to Hawaii and a stop in Berkeley on the way home -
December 2005.
One of the trees
near the end of our driveway fell on our neighbor's house on the 18th of
January 2006.
The clean up the
next day was impressive. We took down the second tree rather than wait
for it to fall, too.
Just a few pictures from our trip to Chamonix to
ski. Actually, most of the pictures are from Yvette's day trip to Annecy.
Photos of guests
playing Richard's harpsichord. Many of our guests -- those who can play
piano, but probably wouldn't touch a piano if we had one -- will try out our
harpsichord. We always photograph them. With the advent of digital cameras,
we can easily put their pictures on the web, so these are just the recent
ones. No sound, of course.
We had a lovely dinner at Meritage for Yvette's birthday.
In the summer of 1974 we more-or-less
doubled the size of the house we were living in on Knight's Pond. Norman
Larsen was the driving force (what did we know about building a house?). He
also played the accordion. Yvette's parents, who also show up in these
pictures, lent us a hand. (The pictures are in a somewhat random order --
sorry).
During June
2006 we seem to have gone off in lots of different directions. These are
some pictures of what went on: Dinner at Excelsior for Richard's birthday; a
quick visit to New York, where among other things we saw Hans and Rosie,
helped celebrate another Rose's 85th birthday, and then visited Susi and Ed.
We also replaced Yvette's unreliable car with yet another used Volvo the same
day we had our 37th anniversary. Finally, we got our front sidewalk replaced.
David and Bridgette had a party in
their back yard for Elise, Sage, and Riley.
Berlin
2007, part 1. Elizabeth had a week-long meeting in Berlin, which we used
as an excuse to visit Hans and Malena. We arrived for the weekend following
Elizabeth's meeting, and while she was there, we stayed at the Arte Luise
Kunsthotel, where the rooms have been decorated by different artists (ours
was "Drei Damen in Rot" by Elvira Bach). Elizabeth left for Barcelona on
Monday, and we moved to Hans and Malena's for the rest of the visit.
Berlin
2007, part 2. Franziska lives in Hamburg, so we went to visit her and
Emma (Florian was away, climbing).
Crystal and Nathan got married in Southern
California, so most of these pictures are from the wedding reception, but
the first few are from our stay at Roger's, including a visit by Brad and
Kathy.
The new deck at Knight's
Pond. It's not completely finished, but we went there on Father's day.
Pelham Conservation Area. In
late July, we went out to Knight's Pond. For entertainment, we went on a walk
in the Pelham Conservation Area. We thought we were on the
Metacomet-Monadnock Trail, but we weren't. We saw lots of mushrooms, but of
course we know nothing about any of them.
Calgary,
Alberta. In August, we went to Aliza and Nimrod's wedding. Here are a few
of the pictures of the ceremony, the reception, the picnic afterward, etc.
Kootenay Lake, British Columbia. After
the wedding, we grabbed the parents of the bride and went to Kootenay Lake
for a few days. We figured that after their son's wedding in May and their
daughter's wedding in August, they needed a break. The last couple of
pictures were from stops on the way back to Calgary.
David and Marilyn's house.
When we got back to Calgary, Yvette wandered around David and
Marilyn's house and shot pictures of objects that fascinated her.
Berkeley and Yosemite, October 2007
About a hundred pictures from our trip to Berkeley and Yosemite.

Elizabeth and Matt visited at
Thanksgiving. Yvette and I made our annual Christmas visit to Bob
& Mimi.
We took very few pictures this year.
Yvette and I seem to have instituted
another annual event: a skiing trip to
Utah. There are no pictures on the slopes here, just
friends and accommodations.
Some pictures of family. Mostly
from our trip to southern California.
A couple of pictures of
a worker trimming our huge cherry tree and a couple of pictures of
the flowers Liana and Elizabeth sent Yvette for her birthday.
We went to Southern California for Jake and Anna's wedding.
While there, we also visited Roger and Heather and Brad and Kathy. Suzy and Warren were there, too, as was
Lee.
We spent some time at
Bears Den and in Western Massachusetts in July.
We had a family reunion at Quisisana to
celebrate Lee's eighty-eighth birthday.
Dick and Sue celebrated their 50th
anniversary with a big party at the Coonamessett Inn, Falmouth, MA.
While Martin and Lee were visiting we also got to a
wedding celebration at the Goodmans' and visited our friend Tom.
Pictures from our second trip to Bear's Den this
summer and from Martin's visit with his family.
Liana ran a Half Marathon in Las Vegas on
December 5, 2010.
In December, 2010, we took a trip to look at
property on Toddy Pond, property we ended up buying!
